Event Details
Few, if any, sacraments provide the depth, intimacy and versatility like the Sacrament of Light. From the subtlest energetic and somatic expressions to the mystery of one’s own dissolution, the 5-MeO sacrament invites profound divine connection, healing, and wisdom for one’s whole being.
In Part I: The Self as Temple of the Sacrament of Light’s two-part initiatory practicum, students will develop a personal relationship with the sacrament through a low-dose, step-wise exploration and a series of guided practices in breath, prayer, and presence. Participants will learn the mechanics and safety protocols of working with the pens, explore the sacrament’s effects on consciousness and the nervous system, and trade sittings with one another as they cultivate humility, respect, and intimacy with the Spirit that animates all things. Students will sit with the sacrament over the course of the Fall Semester, keep a journal of their experiences, and attend monthly supervision. Students will be encouraged to sit with each other as they practice on themselves.
