MICRODOSING COURSE

The Congregation for Sacred Practices is pleased to announce a training for ministers, guides, therapists, spiritual directors, and coaches to support people through a 30-day microdosing protocol. If you want to add supporting microdosing to your skillset in working with clients, this is a course for you.

MD Course Description
Microdosing: Basics is an eight week experiential course that mixes live, online teaching & observation with weekly experiential practice with fellow students. The course models a 30-day microdosing protocol using .1 gram of Psilocybin. The first meeting is an orientation to the microdosing and the course outline. The second through fifth sessions will model the 30-day protocol with instruction, live or recorded demonstrations, and discussions on the trades. The final session will conclude the learning. In addition to the classroom work, you will meet with another participant as a practitioner (1 hr) and another time as a member/client (1 hr) each week. Students will source their own medicine.

About Microdosing
Microdosing is the act of consuming small amounts of a psychedelic medicine consumed on a regimen that is co-created with you and your facilitator (typically around 1/10 th of a gram (0.1g) of dried psilocybin mushrooms). Microdoses are sub-perceptual from a visual perspective. There are no classic psychedelic effects when under the influence of a microdose.

It’s worth emphasizing upfront that psychedelics alone may not change or help you. Microdosing can provide small glimmers of insight into how you can make constructive changes in your life that align with your true self as well as make it easier for you to implement your intentions. While microdosing protocols can be a powerful, potentially life-changing tool, successful protocols are built around one important understanding: microdosing will not do the work for you. It’s up to you to make the decisions that will change your behavior, perspective, and life. Keeping this in mind throughout your microdosing protocol will empower you and help produce lasting results.

Microdosing Potential Benefits:

Library

• A reduction or alleviation of anxiety and depression symptoms
• A greater ability to focus and enter flow states, resulting in a greater sense of self-confidence and the potential to reduce or eliminate medications with unwanted side-effects
• A reduction of unhealthy addictive behaviors
• Improving your ability to take action that produces a positive result, thereby shifting crucial psychological “momentum”
• Production of greater levels of insight that can “dislodge” a way of thinking that serves as the foundation for suffering
• Increased sense of empathy, for both self and others which can often improve social interaction and one’s ability to manage relationships for those struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, ADD/ADHD, mood disorders and/or problematic behaviors (to name a few). Microdosing may create a number of positive
changes.

The medicine is there to increase awareness of what has always been there, allowing you to have a more enhanced experience of your intentions than what seemed available prior. It can be “training wheels” for “rewiring” patterns of living or feelings that are not desirable or you’d like to experience more of that which had
seemed insurmountable.

Please plan to participate with the medicine during this month in your own Microdose Protocol.
