The Congregation for Sacred Practices is an accredited seminary and 501c3 religious organization. We believe that the Divine is alive in every life, and this aliveness expands and develops through spiritual teaching and sacred practices, including sacrament and ceremony.

Courses are designed for clergy, spiritual directors, counselors, life coaches, and anyone interested in exploring the profound connection between spirituality and healing. The Training of Ministers is a distinct multi-year seminary program that provides ethical, clinical, cultural, spiritual, and practical training to those interested in supporting members experiencing expanded states of consciousness in a sacramental container.

We also offer an accelerated Bridge Seminar for experienced entheogenic guides who are interested in holding sacramental ceremonies above ground in a spiritual context. Graduates of both the Training of Ministers and Bridge Seminar are eligible to apply for licensure as ministers in the Congregation.

Joining the Congregation offers:

+ PROTECTION
We believe that the sincere religious use of these sacraments is protected under the Religious Freedom Restoration Act of 1993.

Our approach is grounded in clearly defined beliefs, established practices, and a commitment to responsible ministry.

We encourage members and ministers to understand the legal framework, its limitations, and the responsibilities that accompany religious practice.
+ COMMUNITY
We believe relationships are the primary medium of transformation, growth, and meaningful service.

For members, we offer opportunities to connect with fellow walkers on the Awakening Path through shared learning, reflection, and community gatherings.

For ministers, we cultivate a vibrant network of peer support, referrals, mentorship, collaboration, and continuing education, helping each person remain connected, supported, and resourced throughout their practice.
+ SAFETY
Medical: Our intake includes comprehensive medical screening, and we have a team of doctors and nurse practitioners available for consultation.

Ethics: We center ethics as a foundational practice throughout training and serving as a minister.

We take ethics violations very seriously and have devised a committee that handles any cases that might need review.
