Jeanne Du Rivage is a licensed occupational therapist with over 35 years of professional experience. She has provided services directly to young children and families, worked as a part time adjunct faculty member at the University of New Mexico School of Occupational therapy and as a consultant to nonprofit organizations, and has presented at numerous conferences.
She has also been practicing Somatic Experiencing (SE), a neurobiological approach developed by Dr. Peter Levine, to address the impact of trauma, for 16 years. Jeanne specializes in working with attachment and developmental trauma and works with both adults and children. She has assisted at SE trainings in the US, Europe and Turkey and has worked in post disaster settings in India, Sri Lanka and New Orleans. Jeanne believes that SE is a profound healing modality. She is passionate about working with children, families and adults and believes that empathy and love are powerful tools for healing.
