Welcome to the Congregation for Sacred Practices!

If you’re seeking an individual or couples retreat, a group ceremony, ordination training in becoming a minster, or wanting to start your own 501(c)3 religious organization, you’ve come to the right place. We are a 501(c)3 religious non-profit that helps individuals engage with medicine sacraments, rituals, and sacred practices to dive deeply into their expression of the Divine. We also help practitioners start and grow their own congregations.

The Possibility

A world where people live from the experience of the Divine within them  — where people live with courage, freedom, love, and self-expression in service to the common good.

Guiding Beliefs

We believe that:

  • As human beings, we have the capacity to awaken, cultivate, and live from the Divine.
  • The Divine is alive in every life. This aliveness expands and develops through spiritual teachings, sacred practices, sacraments, and rituals.
  • Expanding the Divine Spirit into the world brings healing and wholeness to individuals, families, communities, nations, and the natural world.
  • Sacred plant medicines experiences can accelerate the development of healing, wholeness, creativity, and engagement with the world.

Our Purpose

To provide a forum and create rhythms that foster the awakening, expansion, development, and expression of the Divine within all of us.

To uphold the sacred potential for human growth and to provide an institutional counter balance to the prevailing medical model for sacred medicine and sacred practices.

To provide practitioners of sacred practices the legal framework for executing their practices in a way that’s for the betterment of the individual and the community and complies with local and federal laws.

To provide practitioners of sacred practices with institutional access to group health and financial benefits.

*** Paul/Channing, You’ll want one or two sentences here like this one from paulryder.com: “I work in three modalities that work together to build purpose and passion. Executive Coaching dives into the questions of “What do you want?” and “How can we get there?” Somatic Psychotherapy surfaces the deeply held patterns and emotions in your body helping you create more freedom. Plant medicine accelerates the waking up and knowing of your deepest self, what it wants, and how to live a life of choice and meaning.”

If you are just beginning or if you are further along the path of opening to the Divine, powerful healing and growth flows and flourishes from a focused retreat.

If you want to connect more deeply to Life, there’s no better place to learn, process, forgive, grow, and challenge ourselves than with our intimate partners.

As with all sacramental work, participation in a group ceremony requires engaging in both a preparation phase and an integration phase.

I’m 58 years old and today is the first day I feel like I belong on this planet. This work is truly amazing. I can’t believe one session could make such a huge change in me.

I’ve been in an out of talk therapy for 15 years. This is a whole new thing . . . and it really works. Your kindness and skill is truly a gift.

Paul, Thank. You. So. Much. I no longer feel like a suicidal bag of broken glass. I feel like me again. It’s been a long time.

I used to think that digging into my history and getting clear on the origins of my problems would be the path to a healthy future. Turns out, healing is right here, right now and right inside me. Paul’s confidence and gentle but determined focus to pull me right to the present moment got me to the opening I didn’t even know I was seeking.

I arrived without any clear idea of what to expect. All I can say is the I now know what folks mean when they say they’re living an expanded life and growing in every moment. I feel more alive than ever . . . and I didn’t feel all that bad to begin with.
